Trustees are the boss of the school board. They hire the director and monitor his or her performance. Their actions, or inactions, have an immense impact on the lives of our young people, our communities, and our future. The more we know about the candidates running to be trustees, the better our chances of electing a school board that collaborates well, listens to the public, and acts on a common vision of how to align public education with changing times. It’s our responsibility to know who we are voting for when we go to the polls on October 22nd.
